Detection of serum telomerase and fibronectin as precursor markers of cervix cancer in patients with a positive Pap test

Abstract Introduction : Cervical cancer is a type of that appears in cervical cells, the lower part uterus, being characterized by proliferation atypical cancerous which can spread rapidly, representing serious disease, with significant medical and social impact among affected individuals, severe evolution particularly when detected advanced stages. The aim this study was to evaluate alterations found caused persistent HPV infection, using inflammatory protein biomarkers such as fibronectin telomerase. Material method This included total 169 women, both asymptomatic symptomatic, aged between 30 64 years. Those women underwent routine gynecological consultations or were referred gynecologist because their symptoms. After selecting patients, Pap test blood samples (5 ml) taken.
